Bown Smith asked:

Gaming industry was already popular among the fun loving masses of the world but introduction of iPhone has put up an extra gear to speed up game development for smart phones in the industry. There are millions who take pleasure in playing games on mobile phones but with the introduction of iPhone, mobile gaming has augmented rapidly in diminutive time.

In one year iPhone has developed its market at great extent; iPhone has created large masses and users of all age group. iPhone provides 3G/Mac games for its fun loving users as well as allows to use additional game applications for customized games. For iPhone games development, iPhone developers use Mac OS X operating system, as it is developed and marketed by Apple mobile company. iPhone has boosted the mobile gaming and playing significant role for the popularity of games on the mobile and other communicative devices.

Development of mobile games is the process of various technical and non technical activities which brings quality to any mobile game. Use of technology to games development should bring high performance of graphics, game sounds should be matching and overall visualization of the game should be catchy. Big factor in mobile games development is cost, arranging all the things together sometimes increase the cost of game which needs to be in high consideration by the mobile game developers. Technologies used by the mobile developers are in large variety and they are based on the nature and intensity of the games such as for the development of 2d mobile games iPhone developers use Cocos2d-iphone framework, it’s a cost-effective framework as it is open source product and reduces timeline in the game development. Oolong Game Engine is productive for the development of new games and able to port existing games to iPhone & iPod and this game engine is written in C++ & Objective-C. Commonly mobile game developers use many programming languages, frameworks and technological systems such as MAC platform, Cocoa ? Objective C, AppleScript and many more.

Millions of users are using iPhone for the games instead of using their pc for the fun, as mobile gaming is easy and portable service for the users anywhere they want. For the custom iPhone game development users can hire iPhone developers very easily from any MAC game development company. iPhone 3G game development has become very common with the increasing passion of the game lovers in industry and has provided an extra mile to gaming industry.

Create a video blog…instantly.

Damian Cross asked:

There is a lot of games online that are down right bad as they have poor graphics, sound quality is pathetic, and the actual game scenario itself is too childish so how can you avoid these kinds of games?

Avoiding bad games will take some practice, but as you begin your way through the online gaming world you’ll right away know when you see a bad game and when you see an addicting game. The quality is the first thing that will spike interest. If someone has just thrown a bunch of images together with a little animation you are going to become bored in a matter of minutes, but if the developers have taken the time to not only give you great graphics, superb sound, and endless opportunities of challenges you are right away pulled in. These types of addictive games pop up all year long whether they are online or for gaming consoles.

Usually if there is a game developed for a console someone is going to redevelop it for online. Usually these games are done with the use of miniclip. Miniclip games are a great way to put together some of the most complicated games around, and make them tons of fun for you.

Now you are probably thinking that since these addictive games are free they are going to be very boring and probably some of the worst games you’ll ever play. Wrong! Free addictive games are everywhere. Addictive Games Online has jam packed their entire site full of addictive games whether they are motorbike games, miniclip games, and even arcade town games, they’ve got them.

The only way you are going to find some of the best quality and addictive games is by searching around. You are going to encounter many brutal games before you do find some of the most addictive games online, but once you find them you’ll continue playing them as long as they are there.

Not many people are willing to pay to play games online so webmasters have developed many free gaming sites that provide free addictive games and just about any other game there is. Even though you may find one game completely stupid there is someone else out there who loves it so it will stick around. This is why you tend to encounter a lot of bad games before you find that right addicting game. There is no way that anyone can be completely pleased with everything they see, so as a webmaster of a gaming website they try to cater to everyone that travels through their sites, meaning providing stuff some may or may not like.

Create a video blog

Joe Schmieder asked:

Whether you already have a home game room or you’re thinking of adding one to your home there are some “essential things” you’ll need to make your game room “Ultimate”. It’s true you may not need every single one of these items or you may not have the time, space or money to add every single one. But if you do have the time, space and or money and want an “Ultimate” Home Game Room then check out the top 6 items (in order of importance) that you’ll need for your game room to achieve ultimate “game room friendly” status.

#1 Game Table

Since you’re creating a home game room the number one must-have is the game table. Now which game table or tables you have is of course a personal choice. The two best game tables for home game rooms are billiard tables and shuffleboard tables. They’re the best because of multi-player use, the skill of the game and the fun competition each one brings to your home.

If your game room is big enough it’s always fun to have a combination of two different game tables. The best combo idea would be to have a billiard or shuffleboard table plus either an air hockey, foosball or ping-pong table. They say “Variety Is The Spice Of Life” and that is especially true for a home game room.

#2 Three More Great Games

The second must-haves are more great games. Again this is a home game room and to be “Ultimate” you’ll need at least three more great games. These are games that will compliment your table games and add even more variety. The types of games that fit into this category are: arcade games, indoor basketball games, bowling games, crane games, dart games, pinball machines, football games, golf games, pachinko/pachislo games and slot machines.

There are other games you could add but this is a good list to get you started on the right track to creating a fun family game room. These three additional great games are just enough to keep everyone happy. Any less and you could lose that ultimate status, any more and your home game room could become cluttered. A home game room that’s cluttered with games will lose its uniqueness!

#3 – Jukebox

So now that you have the games and everyone is having a blast you’ll want to add some music. The best way to add music is with a jukebox. Stereo systems are good also but they don’t give you that “Ultimate” game room look and feel that a jukebox does.

Don’t worry there is a large assortment of jukeboxes available. Personally I prefer a jukebox from the 1940s. The old songs from the 1920s-1940s are great for all ages and they’re a nice change from the norm. There are some really catchy tunes from those years!

But if you’re not an oldies fan then there are other jukeboxes, like the ones that play 45rpm records. If those are still too old for you then a CD jukebox will do the trick. Some hold a hundred CDs giving you the ability to add a large assortment of music that would be perfect for any occasion. Also the jukeboxes look vintage 1940-ish. Finally if you love technology there are digital jukeboxes. They don’t look so much like a traditional jukebox but you can download music right to them using various methods like from a home computer.

# 4 Game Room TV

The fourth item you’ll need is a Game Room TV. It’s great to have a jukebox and music but when the big game is on New Year’s Day you’ll want your Game Room TV. Whether it’s a 13inch TV attached to your ceiling or wall or a large plasma TV doesn’t matter. It’s having the TV that bumps your game room up to the “Ultimate” level.

Now one of the best TVs to have in a home game room if you have the room is the projector TV with a movie screen. Having one of those is like having your own mini theatre in your home and they’re great for watching sports. It’s probably not a good idea to use one of these TVs for everyday use as the projector bulbs have a limited lifetime. You can however buy a replacement bulb but they can get expensive on some models. The bulbs usually last around 3000 hours and that is plenty for home game room use.

#5 – Refrigerator

The fifth must-have is the refrigerator. The reason being that if you’re creating an ultimate game room then you’re most likely planning on having parties with family and friends. A refrigerator that holds a couple cases of your favorite drink is perfect. You don’t need something large and fancy.

The reason these are good is that you won’t have everyone trouncing into your kitchen all day and night to get a drink. Also it helps keep the party in your game room not to mention your kitchen floors clean. On top of that they’re great for storing extra food for everyday use if your main refrigerator if full.

#6 Game Room Bathroom

The last must-have item on our list is a Game Room Bathroom. Like the refrigerator above it keeps the foot traffic to a minimum throughout the house if you have a bathroom in your game room. Plus adding that additional bathroom to your home is great if you have parties because someone always needs to “go” when your one bathroom is occupied.

Besides the added benefit during parties, adding another bathroom to a home usually increases a homes value. That is always a good thing and it’s just another reason why a bathroom in the game room is the number six must-have item.

There are many more items that can be added to your home game room. For example neon signs, clocks, pictures, posters, pub lights and so on. But this is a list of must-haves to push your game room up to the ultimate level.

Of course not everyone has the room or the money to add a bathroom to the game room. Or has the space to add so many different games. That’s ok because game rooms aren’t about having the biggest and best things. They’re about having fun with family and friends. Also creating the “Ultimate Game Room” isn’t done overnight. It takes time and that is part of the fun in bringing your game room to life. Set a budget if you need to and take as much time as you like in adding your favorite game room items. In the meantime have fun using your game room with family and friends as much as possible. And never forget that “Families That Play Together, Stay Together”.

gaming

BamBum asked:

The development of web-based graphics technologies such as Flash allowed browser games to become more and more complex. These games, also known by their related technology as “flash games”, became increasingly popular. Almost everyone who makes use of the World Wide Web must have come across the term “flash games”. Some of us play flash games occasionally, but there are people who really did made a passion in playing flash games. And who can blaim them?

Is true that flash games don’t typically have great graphics or as long as traditional games, but there are many very fun and challenging ones if you look in the right places.

Doing a small research on the popular search engines will reveal the fact that flash games is a common term for which people are looking to find. There are many creative flash games on the Internet and almost everyone has played a flash game at least once. Even if most of them have limited multiplayer play, often being single player games with a high score list shared among all players, the variety of games genre such as: adventure, shooting, action, puzzles, racing and many others, the fact they are free to play, easy to find do makes the flash games very popular and everyday they do attract a lot of players.

The first and probably the most important aspect of their popularity is the easy-access and cross-platform capabilities. In other words they can be played both online and offline and they do not require any client side software to be installed, apart from the web browser and common plugins such as Java or Flash Player.

Another aspect that makes online flash games so attractive to gamers of all ages, is the fact that you don’t need to dig through tons of search results on the search engines to find what you are looking for, we can compare this experience to the one offered by video game consoles where you would actually have to spend time looking for the game which appeals to your interests and then buy the console plus the game, not to even mention additional add-ons and accessories. The relative ease that one has at finding a flash game of their choice is a big plus for this gaming industry. A common fact for flash games is that in generally they are very easy to understand and children hardly take any time to learn and comprehend them. Many people enjoy playing these games at work or during their lunch hours. The games have a mesmerizing effect on their players and they add a touch of realism to the environment or the situation in which the games are set up. Some of the online flash games give the player an impression that he/she is in a Hollywood show or in the streets of Las Vegas.

Flash games are a big source of fun for the people and there are cases in which these games are recommended by the medical professionals mainly for the mentally challenged children in order to develop their reflexes. Flash games have clearly given a big leap to the gaming industry as they are getting popularity day by day. Even if as we said flash games are free to play they are generating lots of revenue to those who are in the gaming industry. New categories and games are added to websites holding flash games from time to time, which give an amazing variety of choices for players. There are several online game competitions also available these days which are open for all gamers. One can participate in these competitions and win attractive prizes. So, if you love fun, play online flash games, these games are easily available from so many websites free of cost.

Everything from Space invaders to Tetris, Pacman, simulation, arcade, trivia and many others can be found through this gaming option online and they can be played without the need to spend a single dime. If you stop for a moment and remember the good old days when graphics and advanced controls didn’t matter towards having fun, you will soon realize just how much value is involved with being able to access these games. Online flash games are a great way to experience the past in gaming, they offer these games for free and are easy to find. So if this is the gaming option you are looking for, flash based games are for sure an option you would want to look into.

Besides the old classics, almost any other genre, as mentioned before, can be found online under flash games. How about shooting some pool? Flash games allow you to access not only the classic eight ball version of pool but also the rarely seen nine balls. Racing games are another favorite that can be found almost anywhere flash games are offered. For those who love action and fighting games such as Street Fighters and even Mortal Kombat you will be please to know that there are several games provided in this genre so if you want to fight with swords or fists or another weapon of your choice these games are offered in full force as well! There are also various funny and cute games available for children. Even board games like chess and checkers can be found all around the web, the key is just searching for the game of your choice. Flash games are indeed a source of excitement and you can find them abundantly on various websites to kill your boredom forever.

A big plus is the fact that there are no long downloads so it doesn’t matter if you have a slow 28K – 56K dial up connection or a broadband service, you can enjoy these games aswell. Time is precious for us and most of flash games do not require a lot of play time, this is the reason for which they are being marketed to those who don’t have too much time for games but are still looking for fun. But even so there is a large number of website having large communities of players which stick to their computer for long hours without feeling the need to take a break, probably because game developing companies do they best to come up with various exciting flash games which have great storylines and are rather addictive.

Most of the people that have started to search for some flash games on the internet, know that they can be not only a good way of spending their spare time, but also a refuge for those who are upset or stressed. You can utilize your free time by playing these amazing flash games which not only refresh you, but some puzzle games really improve your concentration and help you perform better in life ahead, as it overall develops your brain and you also get the habit of deep thinking as it is required to play these online flash games. Once you have entered into this world of flash games players, you can not stay away. When you have found a great game, one you most enjoy, you feel like playing and playng it, over and over till you learn to do it as best as you can.

Considering all the benefits offered by flash games they sure come as a clear winner!

Kansieo.com

Caffeinated Content for WordPress

Continued from Part 1

Walkthrough/solve:

These are usually text files (.rts, txt or .doc) that give a detailed description of how to play a game from the beginning to the end. If you read through these too early in the game, you will lose some of the fun of playing with the game.

Puzzle solutions:

These are keys to puzzles that are necessary for you if you want to get ahead in the game. They can be keys to doors, quiz questions, safe combinations, the use of certain objects that the player has to find out relying on the information gathered during the game. These are not considered cheats, either. But if you read them in advance, you will lose some fun of the game.

Strategy guides/game guides:

We can make a distinction between official and non-official game guides. Official guides are printed, illustrated books that are published by game developing companies and you can buy them online or in bookshops. Non-official game guides or FAQ’s are detailed descriptions made by game fans about particular games, which are usually free and available electronically in txt. or doc. format on the Internet. You can also find game guides in magazines dealing with video games. These detailed descriptions do not only contain the goals of the game, the game control commands, characters, the objects, the rule system, but you can also find extensive information about the strategies concerning end plays and the different situations in a particular game. They used to be made for more complex games such as simulators or strategic games but nowadays they come with almost every video game.

Trainers:

These software are not developed by game developers, they are designed for the manipulation of certain memory values. They usually consist of an ‘exe. file’ that can be downloaded from the Internet in zipped or compressed format. Trainers allow you to alter certain values and features that are originally not built in the game. For instance, money trainers will give unlimited money, or with the touch of a bottom you can switch on the invulnerability mode. Enthusiastic players and coding people make them for PC games.

In order to use these trainers you have to start the game and with the combination of the ALT+TAB keys you have to switch back to your operating system. Some games do not permit the switch with the combination of the ALT+TAB keys if there is not a parallel program running in the background so it is worth the trouble to open an operating screen before the start of the game. Another simple way of switching back is to use the WIN button on your keyboard.

Before you run the trainer it is important to check it for viruses to make sure that your trainer is free from viruses. In this way you can avoid many unpleasant surprises. Run the program and select the desired option in the trainer. In some cases, if you press certain keys or the combination of certain keys during the game it will result in the desired modifications. You can get information about these modifications and their consequences when you start the trainer as this kind of info is written on the screen right after you start running the program.

Return to your PC game while you are running the trainer, in other words, it is important to run the trainer in the background while your are playing with your game.

Why does the trainer not work with your game?

The most common problem is that the trainer is not compatible with the particular game you play as a result it does not function because it was made for a game with a version number, which is different from the game you use. Most trainers are released with info (.nfo) and readme txt files. In these files you will find all the necessary information about their proper use and the version numbers of the games they are compatible with. In some cases you have to start the trainer before running the game. It is recommended to try out both methods.

Saved game files:

These files have all the different game positions of other players saved for a particular game. They are created when the player has successfully completed a level or has defeated a main enemy or when the hero of the game has been upgraded with super qualities. If you would like to use these files all you have to do is to copy them into the saved game directory of the game and to load them when you start the game. It is highly recommended to make a backup copy of your game positions just in case the new ones would not work.

Editors:

The editors are small programs that enable the player to modify some files of the video game. These can be saved game files or ‘ini’ files that contain game specific information or files concerning the different characters of the game. Similarly to trainers these are also created by game enthusiasts or programmers. The most common type is the character editor that can alter the characters’ features, such as hitpoint, dexterity, or stamina in the different RPG games. They can also alter the objects’ characteristics in the different games. They are very much likely to operate with only those games that have exactly the same version number. The editors should be run in the installation directory that corresponds with the location of those files that we would like to modify, in other cases these files have to be loaded into the editor.

Uhs:

This abbreviation stands for Universal Hint System. These files have so-called ‘uhs’ extensions and in order to take a look at them you need a UHS viewer software. It provides you either with hints on how to accomplish certain tasks or with direct keys to certain tasks in a given game. You can freely download from their website.

Hex cheats:

They belong to the most difficult types of cheats and you are required to possess at least intermediate or advanced computer skills to implement them. This type of cheat usually contains a “hex address” and a certain value that should be replaced.

E.g. endless energy: with the help of the Hex Editor you are to replace:

08 3E F0 03 00 74 03 with 08 3E F0 03 00 90 90.

In order to implement this modification you need a Hex Editor. The most well-known ones are the following: WinHex, Hex Workshop, Hex Edit, Advanced Hex Editor, Cygnus Hex Editor. In all cases it is highly recommended to make a backup copy of the file you intend to modify.

Gameshark/Action replay/ Other patch codes:

To apply these cheats you need to buy certain hardware accessories. These are hardware, special devices that you can connect to your game systems and enable you to modify certain features in your games that are originally not permitted. They provide you with advantages such as eternal life, infinite ammunition, objects or money. They function similarly to trainers and they are based on the manipulation of memory values. These cheats are available in shops that sell video games. The most common ones are Game Genie, Pro Action Replay, GameShark, and Codebreaker. The cheats that are used with the games are purchased together with these devices or available in codebooks or via the Internet on certain web pages.

It seems clear now that there is a great deal of different cheats whose applications vary from games to games, ranging from typing in a keyword to complex programming. Only one question remains: Where can you find cheats or help for your favourite game on the Internet?

I can highly recommend the Abby-cheat.com for a start.

With the rapid change in the economy many of the old ways we did things have changed, including how we play a lot of our video games. With the rapid increase of online gaming many websites are popping up all over the globe in hope to satisfy those that are looking to fulfill their gaming expectations.

You will quickly discover that many of the games are very addicting and you could find yourself loosing track of time while you are playing them. Now the games are not always your ordinary games that you can purchase at the local video store, but these are games that you played back when video games first came out.

Damian Cross asked:

There is a huge variety of gaming options available online that can make it hard to find yourself addicted to just one game, but you could find yourself spending every spare second of your day playing online games. With the amount of gaming opportunities there is you should find yourself playing at least one a week if you are an avid online gamer.

A lot of games have recently become developed with the use of miniclip. These types of games tend to have some of the best graphics for such simplistic games including the game known as Bubble Trouble 2. This game has a very simplistic scenario yet seems to become a truly addicting game. In a matter of minutes you’ll find yourself wanting to continue playing the game and hours will go past before you discover that you’ve sat playing Bubble Trouble 2 for four hours straight. That’s a truly addictive game.

To make things worse, a lot of these games don’t even come with a price so that makes them free addicting games. When something is given to you for free that you can use on a regular basis you are guaranteed to become addicted in no time. Addictive games can become your entire life. You could wake up in the morning and find yourself having to play the game just a little bit before you begin your day and then stay up half the night so you can finish a certain level. This happens a lot in the miniclip games world.

Online gaming can be addictive, but it can also not be addictive. There are some that just never seem to find that perfect game for them and they get tired of looking around. It’s bound to happen at some point or another. With there being such a huge variety of games though you may get in luck and find something that is not only a lot of fun to play, but you can play it without getting bored. When you can find a game that you want to continue playing actually continue playing. These games could be hard for some to find but once they do they’ll be in the zone of addictive games.

Remember though that when you find free addictive games don’t let them over take your life. There is something on the other side of your computer screen that is awaiting you to see it. Online gaming can be very addictive so make sure that if you find yourself entering the realm of addictive games that you set out a timeframe to play them so you can enjoy them for much longer. Addictive Games Online has truly made this possible for you by having all their games available 24/7, so you can continue to keep coming back to their games whenever, this goes for all their games including the miniclip and arcade town games.
